ERSTE Bank, Kaposvár renovation project
The renovation of the ERSTE Bank branch on Fő Street in Kaposvár was realized as an exemplary project, where refined interior design solutions that respect the historic city center meet contemporary functionality in perfect harmony.
Its location on a pedestrian street presented a particular challenge: construction took place during the Christmas market season, amid heavy pedestrian traffic, and was completed in just five months. The works progressed at an intensive pace under a strict schedule, with careful adaptation to the downtown environment and a strong focus on maintaining a positive customer experience.
Key architectural elements:
- Borovi pine windows and doors in a mahogany shade – perfectly aligned with the listed façade, while lending a warm and elegant character to the street-facing appearance.
- A 24 m² artificial skylight with a glazed dome, which is not only a striking architectural feature but also functions as a light-transmitting structure, opening up the interior space.
- A living green wall that provides freshness, a connection to nature, and improved air quality – a rare yet exceptionally positive feature in a modern banking interior.
